St Germain des Fossés is ideally situated for visiting the many splendours of the Auvergne - one of France's last unspoilt areas. Within minutes you can follow the beautiful valley of the Sichon with its winding trout river leading to the Mountain Bourbonnaise. The gentle rolling hills rise to a height of 1,300 metres - this is a haven for walkers and cyclists.

Vichy, renowned for its healing spa waters, offers 2 - 6 days fitness programmes, including massage, sauna, gym etc.
The beautiful park edges the River Allier and lake where many international events are held, including rowing, canoing and jet skiing.

Crossing the river into Bellerive, we have Europe's only floodlit race course holding up to 45 events from May to September. For lovers of golf there is an 18 hole course edging the river, and another just 10 minutes from Vichy surrounded by an oak tree forest.

The magnificent Opera House hosts concerts and plays throughout the year.
